The Cosmos in Motion

Updated: Apr 28

Exploring effective material use in design

Goal : Capturing their dynamic, fluid, and intersecting trajectories in design projects. The mention of choosing 'crossing or parallel designs' prompts designers to consider how lines and patterns interact or come together, introducing a structural element to the conceptual inspiration.

Flowers used : Cosmos , Twisted willow, Hawthorn berry

In Japan, the cosmos is a significant autumn flower often used to celebrate the arrival of the season. Although native to Mexico, it is a robust plant that thrives globally and is beloved worldwide.

Tips :

1. Carefully observe and identify the angle at which cosmos flowers naturally face. Since the flowers face different directions, it can be a little tricky to find the front

2. Remove some small buds to keep the appearance clean and uncluttered.
